Each carved from a single crystal of Tanzanian ruby, still retaining the hexagonal outlines of the original crystals. The first, weighing approximately 2556 carats (511.3 grams) and measuring 3 x 3 x 3 in; the second, of slightly lower form, weighing approximately 3406 carats and (681 grams) and measuring 2 3/8 x 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 in.
