A Ge-type tripod incense burner, ding


Kangxi/YongzhengThe compressed globular body rising elegantly from three tapering feet to a waisted neck, covered overall with an unctuous smoky ivory glaze suffused with a network of irregular black crackles interspersed with golden-brown threads, the centre of the underside unglazed with a neat iron-brown dressing, box. 13.4cm (5 1/4in) diam.
