A white and russet jade 'squirrel and grape' pendant


QianlongElaborately carved in openwork with a bushy-tailed squirrel clambering on a grape vine issuing ripe fruit and large leaves, the furry tail detailed with fine incisions, the stone of a creamy-white tone with russet patches. 6cm (2 3/8in) long.
