大黑天（梵语：Mahakala），。藏传佛教认为大黑天是毗卢遮那佛（梵语：Vairocana，或称为大日如来）降魔时呈现出的忿怒相。此尊一面六臂，站像，红发似火焰，三目怒睁，咧口卷舌，狰狞无比。大黑天是胜乐金刚教法中的黑天护法，因为教法传承的区别而又有诸多不同形象。有单身和双身，又可分站姿和坐姿两类。
