Edo period (1615-1868), late 18th to mid-19th centuryThe first a shishi seated, its head turned to the right, snarling and protecting a ball, on a seal base, carved with a seal beneath, unsigned; the second a shishi seated with its forepaws resting on a mokugyo (fish-shaped drum), unsigned; the third Raijin sprawling on his large thunder drum, holding one of his drum sticks, signed Minkoku.
