An early 18th century joined and boarded oak open armchair, Welsh, circa 1720


The back with three boards positioned flush with the round-ended back uprights and dished cresting rail, the out-splayed and round-ended arms on chamfered square-section supports, the boarded seat above an ogee-profiled front rail, on square-section legs joined by plain stretchers all round, 56.5cm wide x 51.5cm deep x 106cm high, (22in wide x 20in deep x 41 1/2in high)
