A very rare example of Russian Imperial silver cigarette case used by the German officers during the occupation of Kharkov to make a gift to Kurt Meyer (23 December 1910 Â 23 December 1961) was an SS commander and war criminal of Nazi Germany. The German inscription reads: "In commemoration to the battle and victory in Kharkov. To my brave comrade Kurt Meyer from Sepp Dietrich LAH"The case features a gilt interior with Russian Imperial warrant hallmarks and date 1889. Weight: 5.3 oz., (150 g.)
