|ProvenanceThe collection of Peter Whitehouse & Ted Moore.Peter Whitehouse and Ted Moore were the designing architects for the new First Bank Nigeria headquarters and commissioned a large bronze of an elephant (the FBN logo) from Enwonwu to adorn the large reception atrium. The work was cast in the UK and delivered to Lagos, but the then management of FBN did not approve of the sculpture and it was never installed. The above works are the preparatory sketches relating to this commission.
