Le livre contient deux essais d’introduction en japonais, un de Umehara Takeshi, président de l’Université Kyoto Shiritsu Geijutsu, et un autre du critique littéraire Sakazaki Otsuro. Le texte du livre 
est en japonais mais il contient également une traduction en anglais de l’article de Sakazaki Otsuro.
