Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th centuryOf faceted baluster form decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt on a clear, crackled glaze with six panels depicting visitors to a temple, flower viewing, musicians, and a family scene with some of the details raised in relief, the shoulder and neck of the vase decorated with elaborate draperies with geometric and floral designs, the foot designed with layered bands of geometric patterns, iris and waves, illegibly signed on the underside 16 3/4in (42.5cm) high
