A Chinese dark blue ground robe from the 19th century. The robe features embroidered flowers and butterflies, some rendered in the forbidden stitch. The cuffs of the sleeves are embroidered with children. Dimensions are: 38 1/2 inches long X 57 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
