A Chinese longquan celadon vase dating from the Ming dynasty. The vase is incised with banana leaves and a raised string pattern at the neck, a banana leaf border at the base, and the main body depicts lotus flowers with floral and leaf tracery. Dimensions are: 14 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The glaze is crackled with age, otherwise in good condition.
