Chinese cloisonne incense burner from the early Ming Dynasty. It has three lion head legs and two lion head handles with rings all in brass. The cloisonne is bright blue ground enamel with lotus flowers. The censer has a wooden lid with a single handle. Dimensions are: 6 1/8 inches tall X 5 5/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It has age appropriate wear. There is some damage to the enamel, especially around the two handles. Provenance: From the private collection of Mr. Paulson in Southern California, who was an antiques dealer in New York City from 1960s early 1980s. These items were acquired in 1960s and 1970s.
