A Chinese cloisonne crane incense burner with a finely carved Zitan stand dating from the 18th century. The incense burner depicts 3 cranes, 2 of whose heads form handles while the incense burner stands on the cranes' 6 feet. The stand is carved with waves and lotuses. Dimensions are: the censer and stand together measure 17 inches tall X 10 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is minor age wear to the surface of the incense burner, and a few chips in the stand. Provenance: From the private collection of Mr. Paulson in Southern California, who was an antiques dealer in New York City from 1960s early 1980s. These items were acquired in 1960s and 1970s.
