A pair of large Chinese famille rose porcelain bowls depicting a scenic view of Xizi Lake. Each bowl has an inscription with 2 seals and a 4-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 8 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a hairline crack in the rim of 1 of the bowls. Provenance: From the estate of Albert T. Quon in Beverly Hills, CA. Mr. Quon was born in China and came to US as a teenager. He graduated from USC in 1928 and established a successful import/export business in both China and the US. There is a statue of him on USC campus and a classroom was named after him.
