A Chinese underglaze blue and red vase with two handles painted by Jin Pingqing from the 19th century. This white ground blue and copper red painted vase has two elephant handles and ridge encompassing the body through the point of the handles. The vase has the artistâs signature and seal. It also has a bird and flowers painted on the body. It has a six-character mark on the bottom of the vase. Dimensions are: 16 3/4 inches tall X 11 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The side with the bird has a glaze skip and there is a firing crack in the rim.
