A Chinese yellow jade snuff bottle with an agate lid and a metal stopper and spoon dating from the 18th century. The front is carved with a Luohan and a tiger, the sides are carved with attached guardian lion handles, and the back is carved with a chilong. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is minor age wear to the bottle's surface, it is in overall good condition. Provenance: From Mr. Jones in Northern Virginia.
