A Chinese painted pottery figure of a court lady Tang dynasty, first half 8th century The elegant courtier with high hairstyle with two lobes, standing in slightly curved pose in floor-length, pleated silk robe. One foot is pointed sideways, a turned-up shoe peeking out from under her robe. Her hands indicating a direction to her right, her full face with rose-bud lips and blushed cheeks. Accompanied by a copy of a thermoluminescence test #C200c85, from Oxford Authentication, dated October 20, 2000, stating the results are consistant with the suggested period of manufacture.
