Of octagonal form with slightly flared sides and everted rim, each lobe divided by a notched facet to the rim, the concave base supported on four ruyi shaped legs, covered overall with a rich pale ivory glaze suffused with a dense network of black and golden-brown crackles, the glaze thinning to iron black around the rim and petal ribs, 7.2 inch wide.
