A nice Chinese lacquer hand fan dating to the 19th century. The fan is hand painted in gilt with intricate designs of figures and scrolling. Each stick measures just about 8 inches long. The sticks are in excellent condition with no apparent damages. The ribbon needs to be tightened to the right length so the fan opens the correct amount. Measures: L: 20 cm; W: 31 cm. Circa: 19th c..
