The cover mounted with a diamond encrusted crown above yellow gold wreaths encircling Imperial eagles set with a melee of diamonds and central ruby cabochon. The diamond and ruby thumb piece released the hinged cover to reveal a "surprise" of a jeweled Bouquet of Flowers. The interior of the top further lined in Red Enamel. Raised on a Red guilloche inverted conical foot atop a banded, jewel-set plinth. Together with its' fitted beech wood traveling box. with spurious marks Mid 20th Century.
