ROBERT THOMPSON OF KILBURN - MOUSEMAN MONKS CHAIRa circa 1920s/1930s oak Monk's armchair with curved back and shaped arms, supported on octagonal legs with x framed stretcher and with a leather seat. The back panel carved with a Latin motto Per Crucem Salus (Salvation through the Cross), and with a hand holding a cross. The top rail carved with a Fish and Rosette, and the sides carved Yorkshire Roses.
