A Chinese wood, red lacquer and gilt decorated brass mounted floor cabinet:, with panels decorated with birds amidst flowering stems and bulrushes, the railed superstructure surmounted by four seated lion dogs, enclosed by a pair of doors and with a central roundel with two birds, the sides with brass carrying handles and with a carved inscription panel to the reverse, on a plinth base, 82cm (2ft 8 1/4in) wide, 99cm (3ft 3in) high.
