A 19th Century French kingwood, floral marquetry and gilt metal mounted bombe vitrine:, the domed top with a gilt brass moulded cornice and acanthus scroll cresting, enclosed by a cartouche-shaped glazed panel door with quarter veneered cartouche panel below, decorated with a display of flowers and foliage, the sides with similar panels, on cabriole legs headed with acanthus, terminating in foliate sabots, 67.5cm (2ft 2 1/2in) wide, 163cm (5ft 4in) high.
