A Victorian maplewood and satinwood banded writing table:, the rectangular top with a moulded edge and rounded corners, inset with a panel of tooled leather, fitted with a frieze drawer flanked by scroll brackets on turned and simulated fluted dual column end and splayed supports, united by a turned stretcher, terminating in block and short turned feet with roundel ornament, terminating in castors, the top 107cm (3ft 6in) x 55cm (1ft 9 3/4in).
