19th Century Chinese Five Panel Floor Screen:
A five panel floor screen. The panels, constructed of soft wood and painted and varnished (some losses, damage due to normal wear), joined with "L" hinges. Each panel in porcelain is enclosed top and bottom painted with scenes of swimming fish and prawns. With calligraphy and artist's mark on each panel. Above and below porcelain panels, the wood panels are decorated in pen and ink on gold of birds and flowers along with calligraphy.
