Pendant carved from pale green jade with pale brown mottling. Hong Shan was a Neolithic culture in northeastern China. Sites have been found in an area stretching from Inner Mongolia to Liaoning, about 4700- 2600 BC. Hongshan culture is known for its jade pig dragons and embryo dragons.
