Set of two Chinese necklaces with silver and stone elements from the 19th century. One necklace has a repousse silver pendant of a boy riding a qilin and another medallion of two repousse children. It has seven dangling charms. The other necklace has a silver repousse guardian lion with some movable elements. Stones and dangling features are evident on this necklace. The guardian lion medallion is stamped in two places on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity from Hong Kong in 1978. Dimensions are: for the boy and qilin necklace the medallions and dangles are 7 inches long, the chain length is 34 inches. For the guardian lion necklace the medallion is 3 3/4 inches wide X 4 inches long, the chain length is 26 inches. All measurements are approximate. Condition: They are both in good overall condition with some age wear. Provenance: From a multi-generational French-American family collection.
