A set of four famille rose porcelain plaques of the four seasons and dating from the Republic period. Each of these four porcelain plaques depict a seasonal landscape with a corresponding tree and bird along with a young child and a man. The back of each wood frame labels the seasons in both English and Chinese. The wood frames have decorative metal hooks at the top. Dimensions are: for each, 30 inches in height X 8 1/8 inches in width. The frames are 32 5/8 inches in height X 10 3/8 inches in width. All measurements are approximate.
