A small, white ground, famille rose vase dating from the Republic period. The vase is painted in red tones with a man with an exposed torso. He wears elaborate robes and is surrounded by auspicious symbols. The vase has a 4-character Hong Xian mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 5 1/4 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches wide.
