|说明：玉斧最早见于新石器时代晚期，由石斧演化而来，逐渐成为标志及象征性武器和工具，运用于仪仗、礼仪等场合，底蕴深厚。此玉斧玉质青白，滋润温和，斧首及齿皆带皮。器作扁平长方体，斧首雕一虎，虎四肢有力，线条流畅，微蹲颔首，望之可亲。柄阴刻仿古獣面纹及回纹。器身两面斜削成刃，近背部对钻成孔，两脊处各琢有一排齿牙。整器造型端雅，纹饰古拙，意蕴深远，大气悠然，实为难得。原配红漆旧木盒。
