19th centuryBoth of simple cylindrical form; the first painted in underglaze blue with a five-clawed dragon undulating through flames rendered in copper-red, the unglazed base displaying concentric rings; the second bottle with a wide mouth, slightly flared lip, the side walls painted in copper-red with two confronting dragons amidst clouds and flames, all above turbulent waves surrounding a foot ring, enclosing an apocryphal Yongzheng mark.3 and 3 1/16in (7.6 and 8cm) high
