An enameled and gilt decorated porcelain 'dragon' snuff bottle


Imperial, Guangxu mark and of the period, 1875-1908The front and back with a gilt-lined raised panel, each framing a mighty five-clawed dragon contesting a precious jewel amid flame scrolls, set out against a turquoise-blue ground decorated with auspicious bats in flight, all between a key-fret border on yellow enamel and a thin gilt band above the foot ring encircling the four-character mark in iron-red regular script.2 3/4in (7cm) high
