Two jade snuff bottles


19th centuryThe first a rounded rectangular black jade bottle, skillfully carved in low relief and incised with two intertwined energetic dragons, the uniformed black stone with some light brown patches; the second a well-hollowed pebble-form bottle, utilizing the rich russet inclusions in the grayish-white stone, carved with leafy vines bearing double gourds.2 3/8 and 2 7/8in (7 and 7.4cm) high
