Rare Violet Sapphire


Sri Lanka This beautiful sapphire displays an attractive unenhanced violet hue untinged by any grey. The octagonal cut with its simple faceting style shows off the high clarity of the stone. Violet sapphires which have not been heated are scarce in the marketplace. Weighing approximately 18.24 carats and measuring 16.53 x 12.08 x 9.61mm
|Accompanied by an American Gemological Laboratories report numbered 1089955 dated January 24, 2018 stating that the 18.24 carats sapphires originates from Sri Lanka and that it show no gemological evidence of heat.
