Two White Sapphires


Mogok, BurmaWhite sapphires are now considered to be a rare collector's gem as most sapphires of this color are heat treated to produce blue stones--they are very infrequently left as near-colorless stones. The present offering is of two circular-cut, near-colorless brilliant-cut circular white sapphires: the first, weighing approximately 3.89 carats and measuring 9.71 x 5.81mm,; the second, weighing approximately 3.87 carats and measuring 9.66 x 5.90mm (2)
|Accompanied by an Asia Glory Report number 013497 dated February 26, 2014 stating that the two natural sapphires originate from Mogok, Burma and that they show no indication of thermal treatment. Note this certificate is for the stones before they were recut to improve their scintillation. The current weights are 3.89 and 3.87 carats.
