Large Rhodochrosite Carving of a Bull and a Lapis Carving of a Bird


Designed as a charging bull, carved from a single large specimen of rhodochrosite from Argentina, showing exceptional pattern of "bacon fat" concentric banding, with brass horns, length 9 1/2 in,; together with a stylized Chilean lapis carving of an Ibis with silver feet, neck and beak, with lapis bod and base, height 7 1/2 in.
