Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, AustraliaA large, free-form cabochon double-sided opal. Flat polished on one side to reveal a blue-green-orange play-of-color in a broad flash and flagstone pattern. Domed on the other side showing more of a pinfire green, with a rich demarcation line of electric purple. Suitable either for mounting as a ring or a unique, double-sided pendant.
