此壶段泥砂质，薄胎精工，泥胎泛黄，流、把、身、盖线条流畅，比例和谐，做工精巧可人。壶体通体采用打磨手法，观之光洁如镜。此壶式自清初一直沿袭至清晚期，各朝器形略有细微变化。因为出水流畅，此类壶形常为功夫茶道所亲睐。
