春水堂，是清代乾隆、嘉庆年间定制紫砂茗壶较多的名室，凡“春水堂”所定制之器，皆为精品，此壶即为个中典范。此器胎土坚致，壶全身扁圆，平盖，盖沿圆浑似饼，壶口亦筑圆颈呼应，壶流微弯劲挺而上，圈把上端从颈部水准横出，翻折之后作弯收于腹底，呈高圈足。壶底采用钢刀阴刻“春水堂”，落刀干净利落。整器秀雅古朴，质朴高雅，赏心悦目。
