玉瓶仿商周青铜器造型，由整块白玉精心雕琢而成，古朴庄重、刚健挺拔。玉质油润细腻，色泽均匀。束颈，溜肩弧腹向下逐渐收敛，台阶式圈足外撇，呈扁平形制。瓶腹主体以浅浮雕手法琢兽面纹，又称饕餮纹，纹饰对称，兽面威严肃穆。颈两侧有镂雕变形龙形耳，体现了匠人娴熟的玉雕技法。此瓶形制规矩典雅，雕工精细，可用作文人雅士书斋之中摆饰，典雅古朴。
