款识：千瓷阁 全福监制何朝宗，大约生活于明嘉靖、万历年间，德化县后所村人。他的名字成为德化瓷塑艺术的代名词，被奉为“瓷圣”，甚至有“万瓷朝宗”的美誉。此件塑像仿大师作品。萨摩身着宽袖长衣，双手藏袖，圆肩修身，衣纹简明丰满，密集流畅，衣裳下摆翻卷边角起，若迎风飘拂，有“吴带当风”之势。露一足踏立于波涛之上，足下骇浪汹涌，翻滚不止……形体的整体处理采用大面积空白与密集的衣纹进行对比，富有韵律感与节奏感，以此来表现佛家的超凡脱俗、随缘、智慧和慈悲大度。
