出版：《张文新油画选》，河北美术出版社，石家庄，1988年9月，第27页 签名：张文新 1980 |张文新生于天津，1949年毕业于华北大学美术科，1951年任北京市美术工作室创作干部，20世纪五十年代初参加天安门人民英雄纪念碑雕塑创作。1955年作品《少年之家》获得斯大林奖，《巍巍太行》获文化部颁发奖项并为中国美术馆收藏，《一往无前》《战友》等巨幅油画为军事博物馆收藏。出版有《张文新油画选》等，现居美国。
