陶兴科，生于1968年。1988年进入广西艺术学院油画系，在校期间多幅作品，如《侗族汉子》，《家乡》，《小河》等在广西日报上发表；1992年毕业后到深圳万科精品公司设计部担任设计师两年；1994年后一直从事油画创作，创作有《岁月如烟》、《少女》、《伴侣》、《虔诚》等作品；2012年作品（阿哥等阿妹来对歌）获得法国卢浮宫画展中国选区优秀奖。作品曾参加第11届中国艺术博览会，广州艺术博览会等大型画展，多幅作品被外国友人收藏。现居家专门从事油画创作。
