钤印：尉天池章(白文)||题识：尉天池书于南京。 |来源：日本藏家旧藏||尉天池（b.1936）安徽省砀山县人。中共党员，1960年7月毕业于南京师范学院中文系，1960年9月起，在南京师范学校（今南京师范大学）美术系执教书法，1986年4月晋升为书法教授。1985年起，任硕士学位书法研究生导师、日本书法留学生导师。先后师承沈子善、林散之先生。书学篆、隶、草、楷、行诸体，尤擅行草，书风苍劲浑厚，潇洒豪放，秀逸清奇。书作曾多次参加全国书展和对外交流展。现为中国书法家协会顾问、江苏省书法家协会主席。
