|百達翡麗，世界時間系列，5230G型號，紐約特別版，罕有限量世界時間自動腕錶，2017年。附錶盒、證書及說明書。The Reference 5230G "New York Special Edition" was produced in conjunction with the "Art of Watches Grand Exhibition" held in New York in 2017. It was produced in a small production run of just 300 examples and was sold exclusively in selected Patek Philippe retailers in the United States of America. The metal relief centre dial depicting the Manhatten skyline makes this special edition truly exquisite.Patek Philippe first employed the Worldtime complication in its wristwatches during the 1930s, when the complication was first invented by Swiss watchmaker, Louis Cottier (1894-1966). Cottier's classic worldtime wristwatch depicted 24-time zones simultaneously, with the local time zone of the wearer controlled through a pusher in the case whilst automatically correcting the position of the 24 hour dial. According to our research, this is the first example of the Ref. 5230G "New York Special Edition" to have appeared at auction in Asia.
