The present well-preserved example in platinum still retains all its original accompaniments and product literature, truly befitting of a Patek Philippe connoisseur.Patek Philippe first employed the Worldtime complication in its wristwatches during the 1930s, when the complication was first invented by Swiss watchmaker, Louis Cottier (1894-1966). Cottier's classic worldtime wristwatch depicted 24-time zones simultaneously, with the local time zone of the wearer controlled through a pusher in the case whilst automatically correcting the position of the 24 hour dial.
