清 官用白玉「芸臺相國」印規 銘文：「右父辛敦五字為芸臺相國榻本 （金文） 乍父辛寶敦」印：「予笑」 長 7.2 cm (2 7/8 in) 厚 0.7 cm (1/4 in) 來源: 香港藏家舊藏 估價: HK$ 20,000 / RMB 17,600 印規始於何時已不可考，自清代以來已成盛行之物。據載，清代的皇宮中專有為皇帝蓋寶璽的人，像皇帝的誥命、下傳的聖諭、書寫的墨蹟都要鈐印，若印章模糊不清，連歪帶斜，蓋印之人肯定要腦袋搬家。鈐印之時，先找准位置，再將印規放上，印章緊貼印規內側直角鈐下，永不會歪斜。 芸臺是古時掌管圖書的官署，即秘書省。相國是官位，起源於春秋晉國，是戰國秦及漢朝廷臣最高職務。明、清兩代則用相國作為對內閣大學士和軍機大臣等執政的尊稱。
