The ovoid body rising to a short tapered neck, the exterior finely penciled and painted with iron-red enamel, depicting a sinuous five-clawed dragons chasing a phoenix striding amongst peony scrolls, above a band of overlapping lappets around the foot, the shoulder decorated with a ruyi collar beneath a floral band on the neck, base inscribed with a six-character Kang-Hsi mark, 12.7 in high.
