Zhengde six-character mark and of the periodThe deep rounded sides rising from an in-sloping foot to a gently everted rim, applied overall with a rich lemon-yellow glaze of deep even tone, the unglazed footring burnt orange around the inner edge, the white base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within a double ring. 17.5cm (6 7/8in) diam.
